The National Poetry Competition has a first prize of £5,000, a second prize of £2,000 and a third prize of £1,000. All this, plus the chance to receive international acclaim for your work. Southport Writers’ Circle has launched its Annual Short Story Competition for original, unpublished short fiction on any theme, up to 2,000 words.
